Revolution 250 has issued a schedule of special events, lectures and exhibits to mark the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre, an episode that is said to have sparked the American Revolution.

The events run from February 21 to April 17, 2020 at venues in Boston, including the Massachusetts Historical Society, the Old South Meeting House, the Old State House and the Granary Burying Ground.

Revolution 250 is a consortium of organizations working together to commemorate the 250th anniversaries of the events that led to American Revolution. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of the Massachusetts Historical Society, Revolution 250 has 30+ institutional members, working together to promote Boston’s role in the American Revolution.

Culminating in 2026, 250 years since the American colonies declared independence from the British Empire, Revolution 250 is encouraging residents, visitors, planners, educators, artists, students, the business community, and politicians to recognize the importance of our culture and values.
