Allegiant operates both the Airbus A319 and A320 in an all economy class seating configuration.  The A319 has 156 seats while the A320s range from 177 to 186 seats.  It will use Terminal E at Logan International Airport.

Allegiant Vice President of Planning and Revenue Drew Wells said, “There is a lot of leisure demand for cities that are regional destinations, and this route expansion will address some of that need.  Also, this growth is about Allegiant being true to our mission as a company. We’re increasing the number of low-cost, affordable travel options for people who may otherwise be priced out of air travel.”

Today’s announcement brings Logan Airport’s domestic destination total to 83, according to Massport.  Allegiant Air is the 14th domestic carrier serving Boston (BOS).

Boston Logan International Airport is New England’s primary airport and is operated by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport).  It served 40.9 million passengers in 2018, and has nearly 20,000 full and part-time employees.
