The Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) invites vacation seekers to visit Booth #645 in the USA Main Entrance at the 14th Boston Globe Travel Show, taking place on January 18-20, 2019 at the Seaport World Trade Center. The annual Travel Show opens to the public on Friday, January 18 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Sunday, January 20 at 4 p.m.
The Massachusetts booth is being staffed by state tourism officials and representatives from the 16 regional tourism councils across the state, who will share travel ideas for vacationing in the Bay State this year. In addition, a number of local travel destinations and companies, along with their costumed characters and mascots are visiting MOTT’s booth throughout the weekend, including friends from Plimoth Plantation, The Freedom Trail Players, Massachusetts Pirates, Zoo New England, Orson the Polar Beverage Bear, Lowell Spinner’s Canaligator and Plymouth’s Barnicle & Husk.
Visitors to MOTT’s Booth #645 are welcome to enter for a chance to win a getaway to the North of Boston region. Prize package includes: lodging for two at the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites, two tickets to Jack Kerouac’s The Haunted Life at the Merrimack Repertory Theatre and to The House of the Seven Gables and much more.
The Boston Globe Travel Show is a family-friendly event showcasing destinations around the world, cultural and culinary offerings, advice from travel experts, and various activities for children and adults.
Massachusetts attracted nearly 29 million domestic and international visitors in 2017, according to MOTT and the US Department of Commerce.
