Charlie Baker Becomes Governor of Massachusetts on January 8, 2015

Charlie Baker was sworn into office as the 72nd Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on Thursday, January 8, 2015.

Governor Baker delivered his inaugural address to the joint session of the Massachusetts state legislature at the State House in Boston.  Here is the text of Governor Baker’s remarks.

Governor Baker joins an illustrious list of governors from Massachusetts that dates back to John Hancock (1789-1793).
