1. CLEAN ENERGY

America's first offshore wind farm will be built in the Nantucket
Sound, just offshore from the Massachusetts coast. This undertaking will
create hundreds of jobs, increase energy independence and contribute

2. LIFE SCIENCES

In Massachusetts, strides in the life sciences sector are made every
day. Gateway Park in Worcester is home to dozens of life sciences
companies as well as Nobel Prize winner Craig C. Mello, who perform
their innovative research and development with the facilities'

3. HEALTH IT

Innovation in Health Information Technology is constantly developing
in Massachusetts, furthered by Governor Deval Patrick's HIT Conference
in April 2010. At the conference, federal and state leaders discussed

The Cambridge Innovation Center is one of the world's largest
business incubators, housing approximately 175 companies and offering

Startup Weekend: Cambridge, MA

Startup Weekend recruits a highly motivated group of developers,
busines managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists
and mroe to a 54 hour event that builds communities, companies and
projects. The participants that attend a Startup Weekend decide what
they want to tackle over the weekend and come out at the end with
several developed companies or projects. Attendees are responsible for
bringing the same desire and passion to the project and walk out of the

Mobile Monday Boston: Cambridge, MA
